VOTE 2026
We believe that the best voter is an educated voter. To support the development of educated voters, we've designed this page as an election hub with information and resources pertaining to our service area (Somerset, Wicomico, and Worcester Counties). It is our goal to help our community to be informed and prepared in this election season and beyond.

What are Midterm Elections?
2026 is a Midterm Election year. These are elections that are held halfway through a President's 4 year term. They can change the makeup of Congress, significantly impacting how the incumbent President will be able to govern in the second half of their term. Midterm Elections also impact state governments, local elected officials, and community ballot measures.
Turnout is often lower in midterm election years, which can lead to small, non-representative groups of Americans making outsized decisions about issues like education, housing, criminal justice, policing, and minimum wage.
