Princess Anne Alumnae Chapter programs follow the 5-Point Programmatic Thrust from our Grand Chapter and fall under our Program Planning and Development Committee. Through economic development, educational development, international awareness and involvement, physical and mental healthwe work collectively to serve and uplift our communities. Economic Development

The goals of Economic Development is to empower individuals and communities through financial education, wealth-building strategies, and economic justice initiatives. The Sorority offers programming designed to increase financial literacy, support Black-owned businesses, and close generational wealth gaps. Members lead workshops on topics such as budgeting, credit management, homeownership, investing, and more.

Educational Development

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. supports academic excellence through mentorship, advocacy, and enrichment programs for youth and adults. From early childhood literacy to college preparation, the Sorority provides educational access, guidance, and scholarships. Programs intentionally focus on underserved populations and equip young people with the skills and support systems they need to succeed.​

International Awareness & Involvement

Delta women promote global engagement and service beyond national borders. The Sorority engages in humanitarian efforts that promote health equity, education, sustainable development, and women’s empowerment across the African diaspora and developing nations. Members support international relief efforts and lead service projects to address critical global challenges including poverty, access to healthcare, and domestic violence.​​

Physical & Mental Health

Delta Sigma Theta promotes wellness as a foundation for empowerment and longevity. The Sorority addresses health disparities that disproportionately affect African American communities by organizing public health education, wellness campaigns, and access to health screenings. Additionally, DST is actively engaged in reducing the stigma around mental health and encouraging open conversations about emotional well-being and healing.​​

Social Action (Political Awareness and Involvement)

As a historically Black organization founded in public service, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. continues to lead in the fight for social justice, civil rights, and equitable policy. Members are engaged in every level of civic life—from voter education and registration drives to public policy advocacy and coalition-building. The Sorority encourages active participation in democracy and equips communities to hold elected officials accountable.​
